Simple Development Systems was created based on the recommendations of Dr. Adrian Sargeant, the recommendations of Penelope Burk in her book, Donor-Centered Leadership, analyzing years of charitable giving data, and the results of our clients and students.
The program is focused on building a strong base of individual funding from the ground up (80% of charitable giving dollars come from individuals), and was structured with the small to the mid-sized nonprofit organization in mind. The gist of SDS is not on the latest bright shiny objects, but rather on mastering the fundamentals (and my lifetime donor attraction system) that leads to exceptional fundraising — and your happiest, healthiest nonprofit.
